![]() My skin felt healthier and more hydrated.īut as far as cellulite goes, it really just didn’t help at all. I noticed a few longer term results after using this lotion for a while. It helped amp up some moisture and hydration. ![]() My skin wasn’t as dry after using this lotion. The smell fades away after an hour or so. The smell is strongest right after applying it. It almost reminds of “unscented” lotions or suntan lotion. In the bottle, this lotion has a very light, crisp, clean scent. ![]() I live in Arizona and summer time heat is no joke, so wearing this in June – July was kind of icky. However, it feels fairly heavy on the skin if you use it on larger areas of your body (legs, booty, belly). This lotion totally dries in about 5 – 10 minutes. The lotion is kind of thick so it leaves a white paste until you fully rub it in, which takes a little elbow grease at times. Then massage in gently with soothing, circular motions. To use it, apply a generous amount to your skin with your fingertips. The bottle has a pump dispenser that makes it easy to apply. The application process is pretty simple and straightforward. It feels more like a mixture of a cream and lotion. It has a creamy texture that feels a bit thicker than your average lotion. Philosophy Amazing Grace Firming Body Lotion pumps out of the bottle as a white lotion. However, I noticed the lotion itself is pretty thick and left a greasy feel for a while after.Īll in all, I was unenthused with this Philosophy product. The plus sides are that it does have a light, feminine scent to it.Īnd the pump dispenser makes it easy to apply. So the ingredient list overall wasn’t super appealing to me. I personally try to avoid all parabens and sulfates in my beauty products because they’re potentially harmful preservatives. ![]() It felt more like a glorified moisturizer rather than an actual firming lotion.Īnd there are most definitely superior moisturizers out there, so it didn’t even knock my socks off in that department.Īnother huge bummer is that it uses parabens in the formula. I’m not expecting the world out of these products, but it definitely performed below par compared to other cellulite creams. I did get some minor results my skin was softer and felt more hydrated.īut it really didn’t do anything for the appearance of my cellulite. It’s listed as a perfumed firming body emulsion. Philosophy is a very well known brand, so I was excited to get my hands on this firming body lotion.īut I’ve got to say… I was pretty underwhelmed after using it for a while.
